If you are prepping to attend NameSummit — A Digital Branding Conference covering geo-domain names, SEO, social media and marketing trends, then you’ll want to make sure check the dates and the updated agenda.

It appears NameSummit NYC has opted to favor cooler fall climate over the scorching summer heat, moving the event from early August to November.

NameSummit New York (NYC)

A few weeks ago, I received an interesting email from NameSummit’s Event Coordinator stating that speakers, sponsors and a few esteemed attendees requested date changes or reported date conflicts.

Stating vacations, travel, and back to school for many persons from the aforementioned groups, the email I received didn’t have much more information to it.

It did state that early attendee registrants would be refunded, if they were unable to attend once new dates we’re announced.

However, a few days after receiving the initial email due to my early registration just after NamesCon, I received a second email declaring a refund had been issued.

I replied to the email questions whether or not previously registered attendees would receive the same pricing offered earlier this year, but was informed that different early-bird pricing would be offered.

Nevertheless, NameSummit is now November 5th through the 6th at The Westin New York at Times Square, having newly released pricing is now $299-$699 depending on the type of ticket purchased.

If you’re planning on attending, then be certain to lock in ticket prices for travel, lodging (try AirBnB if hotel is beyond your budget), and attendance at once.

I haven’t decided whether or not I’ll re-register for NameSummit. My attention is currently set on attending MERGE!, which is shaping up to be informative conference.

Are you planning to attend NameSummit or MERGE! or both?

If you are, leave me a comment and let me know. If there’s time, I would love to meet up to chat.

Well, that’s all for now! Have a great weekend!
