Well, it’s been over a year since we saw the last Penguin wreck shop on assuming and unassuming websites throughout the interwebs.

Indeed, I’ve enjoyed this period of golden silence to be hard at work for my customers.

I’ve been creating value-add content and marching to the consistent beat of a sound integrated marketing plan for each customer.  Qualified leads have been showing up just as fast as this year has passed.

Everyone is happy until the news of a new Penguin Update arrives just before the clock strikes 2016.

Will it happen before or after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or Christmas?  Everyone wants to know.  In total transparency, I could care less, but I’m only able to feel this way because my customers nor I am not gaming the ole’ great Google.

The only good thing I can see coming with this next update is that the Penguin will become real-time.  Who knows what this means, but a good guess says that SEO just became a moving target.  Wait, hasn’t it always been a moving target!?  Yes and No, but it all depends on which side of the question or statement you find yourself.

Well, the holidays are fast approaching, as well as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and any other named day for spending money. And I wanted to drop a quick line for you all to be on the lookout for more than turkeys, elves, reindeer, and Santa approaching the end of the Penguin… I mean, year.

I’ll be here working away if you need any SEO questions answered.  Until the next post, Happy Holidays.
