Well, it’s been well over a year since we’ve seen the last Penguin wreck shop on assuming and unassuming websites throughout the inter-webs.

Indeed, I’ve enjoyed this period of golden silence to be hard at work for my customers.  I’ve been creating value-add content and marching to the consistent beat of a sound integrated marketing plan for each customer.  Qualified leads have been showing up just as about as fast as this year has passed.  Everyone is happy, that is, until the news of a new Penguin Update arriving just before the clock strikes 2016.

Will it happen before or after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday or Christmas?  Everyone wants to know.  In total transparency, I could care less, but I’m only able to feel this way because I nor my customers are not gaming the ole’ great Google.

About the only thing good I can see coming with this next update is that the Penguin will now become real time.  Who knows what this exactly means, but a good guess says that SEO just became a moving target.  Wait, hasn’t it always been a moving target!?  Yes and No, but it all depends on which side of the question or statement you find yourself.

Well, the holidays are fast approaching as well as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and any other named day in the sake of spending money. And I wanted to make sure to drop a quick line for you all to be on the lookout for more than turkeys, elves, reindeer and Santa approaching the end of the Penguin… I mean, year.

Should you need any SEO questions answered, I’ll be here working away.  Until the next post, Happy Holidays.
