How CEO Kristen Anderson Caught the Vision for Catch.co

When we remember 2020, the world will certainly not forget the one thing that scoured and traveled to the ends of the earth: COVID-19.

It has voraciously snuffed out hundreds of thousands of lives and counting — young, old, and everyone in between.

Now into the tens of millions and counting, COVID-19, also known as the novel coronavirus, has ravaged the lives of many now finding themselves jobless, all sources of income and savings barren.

To add injury to insult, life and disability insurance, retirement, and health benefits have all evaporated for some into the land of furlough and others in the the land of never returning.

But for all that find themselves having to pull up on the ol’ boot straps, today’s podcast guest and the company she leads just might be the break you’re so desperately needing to catch.

Kristen Anderson, Founder and CEO of CatchI first crossed paths with Kristen Anderson when I tweeted a pic of her company’s billboard and domain that caught my eye as I ran a quick errand.

Kristen is Co-Founder and CEO of Catch — a technology startup combining savings, investment, and insurance for those without access to employer benefits.

Kristen and I exchanged a few emails, and recently had the opportunity to dive into the details of the story behind:

  • How she caught the vision to birth Catch
  • The decision making process to brand Catch using .co versus .com
  • The overall impact of a non .com digital presence
  • And last but not least, how Catch is serving people in general as well as helping those of us greatly impacted by COVID-19

Whether you’re a domain buyer, seller, or investor, this podcast unveils the thought process of business owners, especially those leading startups, and how and what they value in regards to naming, branding, and domains.

Hit play to listen to Kristen and I discuss Catch.co. Enjoy!
