As most of you all know, I attended and participated in the 2nd Annual MERGE! Conference in Orlando, Florida this year.
Having attended its inaugural debut last year, I was honored to Moderate two sessions this year:
Both sessions were attended, received and engaged quite well by attendees and industry professionals.
In addition, one of the most anticipated and talked about segments of MERGE! was Appraisals, Comps, & Aftermarket — How do we know that our domains are worth?
That’s the age-old question — posed by both buyers and sellers — all want to know, yet not many, if any, can settle on a given tool or equation as the go-to answer.
During this panel, one of the panelists — Joe Styler, GoDaddy’s Aftermarket Product Manager — shed light on how GoDaddy is aiming to answer this age-old question with the release of its domain appraisal tool.
Although Joe wasn’t able to give a deep-dive overview of the tool, I was able to capture a few minutes with to dive deeper into GoDaddy’s Domain Appraisal Tool.
Watch the video below as Joe highlights the inner workings of the domain appraisal tool, and how it aims to assist buyers and sellers in determining realistic domain valuation using comparable from past domain sales. In addition, Joe also shares insight about newly released and upcoming tool features.
Please don’t hesitate to send me questions or comments about any of the aforementioned topics.
