Domain Auctions Ending 6/15/2016
Quick Summary of Contents
It’s hump day. I said it’s hump day. *in my singing voice*
I’m happy it’s Wednesday. Another day of meetings, phone calls and getting as much as I can get done in a short amount of time.
Before I get to the domain names and auctions, I want to share a quick story with you.
Yesterday, my family and I decided to eat breakfast for dinner at one of our favorite Austin eateries just off HWY 183: Kerbey Lane.
As we waited for our food, I was thumbing through a few of the complimentary magazines to pass the time until our table was ready.
A low and behold, I stumbled across quite a few magazine and green sheet ads for local Austin companies.
But there was one ad that stuck out to me more than others.
In fact, it was the single ad using a new domain extension: .training.

The ad was promoting Summer Youth Camps that included physical training.
I found this to be interesting, because I think we’ll slowly begin to see and experience a migration of new companies launching their business using new domain extensions.
Personally, I own a handful of new domain extensions but predominantly use .com.
Currently, the number of Austin companies is small in comparison to those who use .com, .net or .org domains.
My take on it is that companies and customers are somewhat confused by new domain extensions.
My guess is that the number of companies willing to launch using a new domain extension will increase dramatically by 2020.
I also believe many more companies will migrate to using new domain extensions or at least own and redirect matching new domain extensions to their existing domain name.
We’ll have to come back to this post to fact check at a later date. 🙂
But the question I want to know from you is are you experiencing an increase in new domain extension usage in your local town, city or metropolis? If so, do share in the comments.

Domain Auctions Ending Today:
As usual, click domains to view their respective auction pricing and details.
DonaldSterling.com – Is he still around the NBA?
FindingANanny.com – The nanny market is much like dating, but once you find one you can trust and love, then hold on tight.
HurricaneShutter.com – Hurricane season just kicked off this month, and it’s likely to be an above average season. I like the plural of this domain versus single.
BestEver.com – Short, memorable and lends itself to quite a few topics.
StrategicPerspective.com – Sounds life coach-esque to me although I could see it being strategic business planning too.
DayTraders.org – Either a professional association or a website dedicated to the art and science of day trading.
DetroitDoor.com – Nice geo service domain to brand. I like the plural over the singular if I have to choose on domain to own, but would opt for owning both singular and plural versions.
ClusterPro.com and ClusterPros.com – why not own both?
ConsciousCulture.com – It seems everything in about culture is deemed untouchable or a sacred cow at times.
SchoolSuppliesForLess.com – If you only knew how many teachers spend their hard earned money on classroom supplies for our leaders of tomorrow today… Thank them dearly.
TotalWebSEO.com – I’m in on this one for sure. It’s been a while since I won a “seo” expiring domain auction.
