Top Verisign’s Trending Keywords Report for April

And just like that… it’s the second week of the month and you know what time it is, right?  That’s right!  It’s time for Verisign’s Top Trending Keywords Report.

Moments ago, Verisign published to its blog April’s trending keywords registered for .com and .net domains.

This month’s list of keywords is interesting, to say the least.  This month’s keywords — rehab, drug, freedom and repro — have anything in common at first glance.

Upon further inspection of keywords in both .com and .net listings, there appears to be keyword commonality as it relates to drug and substance abuse:

  • rehab
  • drug
  • freedom
  • centers
  • alcohol
  • treatment
  • addiction
  • buyer
  • seller
  • blues

As for the remaining keywords — only and over — all are a bit of an enigma as to why they’re trending keywords during the month of April, as is each previous month.
