While attending and participating at MERGE! this year, I had the privilege of meeting and moderating a panel — Secrets of Domain Leasing — that included Stevan Lieberman (opposite end of panel from myself), IP Attorney at Greenberg and Lieberman.

As one may gather from the various thoughts shared by Stevan, Jeff Sass (Chief Marketing Officer of .Club), and Victor Pitts (MMX.co), the list of considerations to be made pertaining to domain lease agreements is quite wide and deep, to say the least.

Whether negotiating a domain purchase or lease agreement, the one area domain buyers and sellers can agree too is desiring an experience that harnesses the right amount of seamless automation and intuitive tech.

While most escrow services act as the go between for the buyer and seller, I recently interviewed Stevan while at MERGE!, discussing why and how their escrow service for domains — Escrow.Domains — is drastically different and a step above traditional escrow service providers.

Watch the video below as Stevan highlights the inner workings of both Escrow.Domains — automated lawyer escrow with human oversight and control— and WileyFish.com — a brand-protection tool for searching US Trademarks using artificial intelligence.
