Domain Auctions Ending 5/10/2016
It’s Tuesday morning and I’m off to the races with a day that is jammed packed with meetings.
Monday was a highly productive day, coming off a very busy Mother’s Day Weekend and Baby Shower weekend for our princess (arriving in less than 10 weeks).
As for domaining news, here’s what you need know and read this day:
Read DNGeek.com’s latest post, and learn about the synergy of keywords, and how their quality and relevance impact the value of domain names.
Andrew Alleman has launched a new service as an easier way to find engaging guests for Podcasters: PodcastGuests.com. It suppose to make it easier to find new podcast guests, and assist podcasters and experts to get booked as guests on other products.
WhizzBangsBlog.com’s Michael Gilmour graced us with another great read about selling domains: Making Money From Selling Domains – Part I. Michael gives great insight as for how to make money categorizing your domain names accordingly. I personally recommend doing this once per quarter and at least 2 times a year.
In addition, I recently had a chance to complete a full review of my growing portfolio. As I find and purchase better domains, I drop older names that are the following:
- Domains that I’ve had a initial change of heart
- Domains that have a short shelf life
- Domains that I won’t have time to develop
- Domains that their industry proves to not be as profitable as initially perceived
For the rest of the domains, as long as I have the following, then I keep those domains:
- Domains more than 5 years of age
- An inquiry in the last 2 years
- Pay-per-click revenues of more than $1.00 per year
- Traffic of more than 30 unique visits monthly
It takes quite a bit of time when you’re just starting out. However, as the quality of your domain portfolio increases, then the time to review should decrease because you’re dealing with domains that attain clear and distinct value.
And speaking of selling domains, would you like your domains included in this listing? Then, read more about how you can that and more…
Onto today’s domain auctions ending, and what a list I have for you today. As usual, click domains to view their respective pricing and auction details.
Domain Auctions Ending Today
WorkItOutGym.com – Not certain, but it looks to be an active company based in Hoboken, NJ. Not sure if this is a legit auction or a domain that’s about to be accidentally sold. Worth bidding on knowing GoDaddy will refund $$$ should domain be renewed.
730530.com, 734567.com, and 737636.com – Simple pattern with double 3’s, 6’s and 7’s. And the easy to remember numbers and sequential order.
LeagueCityHomes.com – City southeast of Houston and the perfect domain for a real estate agent. Read why it’s a decent name to own. Heck, I may sneak in and bid on this one.
AntiqueClockShop.com – A good 3-word domain worth bidding on, especially knowing that antique clocks are worth a good bit of change (the kind that folds!).
MakeMeBlush.com – It’s not too much that’ll make me blush. I don’t think I can stand to change too many more colors either direction. 🙂
RealEstateReferral.com – Every real estate agent is looking for the next referral. This is the perfect domain to build a service to reward those who send you referrals. Don’t believe, then read about Ted Kendrick.
358003.com, 358013.com, 358023.com, 358033.com, 358053.com, 358063.com, 358073.com, and 358083.com – a group of domains worth considering. I’m not much of a numerics guying, owning only a handful of .com numerics.
YogaFest.com – Short for Yoga Festival and is the perfect domain to lease, flip or develop. I like the first two options for this domain.
SmartTexting.com – Is there such a thing? Seems like this is more a categorization of apps than an actual app.
SocialCash.com – Let your friends show you the money by donating to a social cause that’s close to your heart. It’s the next big currency… if not already here.
