Domain Auctions Ending 3/15/2016

Yesterday was so beautiful here in Austin.  I’m certain that SXSW attendees enjoyed the first part of the day.  As for the second part, it was precursor to what this summer will be like in Texas: H-E-L-L.

I broke a sweet yesterday and likely to break another today.  And that’s just walking to and from the office to my car.

Speaking of walking, as I left the office for lunch, I saw something that let’s me know Spring is here and Summer is fast approaching: The Texas Bluebonnet. They were so pretty I almost picked one, but then I thought about the legalities I’d have to deal with.

It ain’t worth it… I’m not going to mess with the bluebonnets or the State of Texas!

In other news, I may have an announcement about the blog and a possible partnership.  It’s still quite early to say it’ll happen with great certainty, but it sure looks promising.

I’ll keep you informed as the days and weeks pass should it come or not come to pass.  Either way, you’ll be the first  know.

As for offers, if you’re in need of affordable web hosting services, Bluehost is offering a special price of $3.49 a month between March 14-21.

Domain Auctions Ending Today

PrepareForSuccess.com – I like “plan” because it’s shorter, but prepare works too. If you don’t prepare for success, then you PrepareForFailure.com*. 17 years old with NO bids.

Skatetown.com – I see big numbers for this 19 year old domain auction. It’s the perfect name to get your roll or skate on for a night. And the next morning, sore as all get out.

HowExchangeWorks.com – Could be an informational website with Adsense or affiliate Exchange services. 7 years old with 12 bids.

SuperiorServers.com – Hmm… maybe hardware. maybe tennis. maybe cloud. maybe food/drink servers. My mind keeps coming back to technology. The hardware industry has hit hard times, if not already been there for nearly a decade. 13 years old with a $12 bid.

WalesJewelers.com – Should be an interesting auction to watch since the release of new top level extensions .cymru and .wales. 16 years old with a $10 bid.  Jeweler.wales*, Jewelry.wales* and Jewelers.wales* are all available at the time of this writing.  But what if “Wales” was someone’s last name?  Hmm…

SwedishClogs.com – Maybe I can order custom Swedish clogs for my wife. Someone will have to bid, win and develop the website, so that I can turn this dream into a reality. 17 years old with 2 bids.

ChiropracticPlus.com – A decent brand domain for a global or national chiropractic, massage, and the list goes on because of the “Plus”. 12 years old with a $12 bid.

SECFraud.com – I could see a website dedicated to uncovering scams and fraud long before the SEC wakes up to the fact their asleep at the wheel. Anybody remember 2007-2008??? 17 years old with a $12 bid.

PasswordCrack.com – 16 years old. NO bids. What the US Government expects Apple to hand them for ALL iPhones. I’ll just leave that right there.

DrillingCompany.com – Makes me think of FrackingCompany.com or Fracking.Company*. Win this auction and have built-in traffic leakage since Drilling.company is already taken. 17 years old and NO bids.

ShortJokes.com – The 16 year domain could be used in a few ways. Telling jokes that are short. Telling vertically-challenged jokes. And then there are those little dirty… never mind.
