Domain Auctions Ending 1/12/2016

I had a chance to view a live stream of Frank Schilling’s 2016 Keynote at Namescon.  Heck, Uniregistry even launched a newly branded website during Frank’s keynote.  Talk about daring.

Then, Frank upped the ante by demoing the Uniregistry phone app.  The app did work although it wasn’t without latency issues awaiting for domains that were pushed from one account to another.

Nevertheless, the live feeds offer by Namescon (a BIG thank for those of us who couldn’t make it!) made me kick myself at why I didn’t buy my tickets, airplane tickets and hotel room.  Oh well, I’ll be there for sure in 2017.

I have to be honest and say that I’ve been able to snag a few good names without inflated bid pricing or anyone sniping me within the last 10 minutes of auction.  I know it’ll be pure war next week as everyone gets back into the swing of things after the conference.  For now, I’ll enjoy this time while I have it.  Oh well, onto the domains.

Domain Auctions Ending 1/11/2016

It’s Monday again, and I’m certain that EVERYONE is back at work.  I’ll do a bit of travel this week, which should make for a quick week.

Now that I think about the opening sentence, not everyone is at work.  There are a few hundred persons in Las Vegas having the time of their life at Namescon.com.  Today is the third day of the conference, and it’ll be a big day with Right of the Dot’s Domain Name Auction.

To keep up with all Namescon updates and domaining in general, you’ll want to pay close attention to Domaining and DNJournal, as well as social media. That’s about it for this week.

Domain Auctions Ending 1/9/2016

It’s early, and it’s Saturday.  Why are we up?  Because the early bird gets the worm, or in this case, the expired domain.

I’ve had a great week although it’s been a tough one in the auctions.  Specifically, there was a clawback or a domain renewal reverse with a domain I won: CloudWorkstation.com.  It went something like this…

Friday’s Bag Ole’ Domains 1/8/2016

Welcome to the first edition of Friday’s Bag Ole’ Domains!

Okay, what is the Friday’s Bag Ole’ Domains?

This domain list will be a once a week (Friday only) post of domains that I think are worth taking a look at and possibly buying.

There will be no commentary on these domains, so you’ll have to use your imagination as to why I chose to highlight each on this list.  Some are keywords, some are branded domains, some are geos, some are numerics, some are 3-6 characters… and more… Peruse this list and choose wisely.

How are the domains different than the regular GoDaddy Auction?

The domains listed are in the “buy now” or “closeout” status in auction via GoDaddy’s Domain Auction.  These domains are priced at $5 plus one year of .com registration you’ll have to pay at the time of purchase.  So you could pay anywhere from $15 – $25 for the domain of your choice.

How long will I have to purchase domains?

You’ll only have a few hours to purchase these domains today.  After that, you’ll have to wait for them to be deleted and hope you are lucky enough to hand register the domain after some time has passed.

Good luck and let me know if you happen a snag one or a few domains from this list.  Oh yeah, this week there is one domain available for registration at the time of this posting. 😉

Well, we’ve made it Friday, and I’m glad about it.  This has been a challenging first week of a new year, but I’ve overcome.  🙂

I’ve got a surprise for you today, but you’ll have to wait for my next post on this blog today.  Let me know what you think when you receive Friday’s Bag Ole’ Domains.

Not much to talk about for a Friday other than wondering when 5 o’clock will arrive.  *fingers tapping*

Domain Auctions Ending 1/7/2016

This week is flying by as fast as breathing itself, and I’m quite glad.  Only a few weeks and I’ll be off for a solid week.  This means there will be no domain auction postings while I’m on vacation.  Sorry.

In other news, most domain investors, also known as domainers, are getting ready to the biggest conference yet: Namescon.  I opted out this year only due to vacation towards the end of this month.  It was either vacation or Namescon.  I chose to keep my wife happy.  Happy wife, happy life.

At the time of this writing, there are some good aged .com domains to snap up.  Of course, I’ve included some 4L, 5L, 6L, 5N, and 6N domains for your choosing.  Oh, I also have a decent list of branded domains too.

Guess what today is?

hump-day

It’s hump day and we’re going to make the best of it.   Take it an hour at a time, and you’ll be done in no time.

Today’s domain list is rather extensive.  Not that the previous lists didn’t have good names, today there are some real good names to choose from.  Whether you choose to develop, brand or quick flip the domains, you’re certain to make money uner the right conditions.

Also, I found some .org, .cc and .co domains that I’ve included in today’s domain auction list.  I’ve been busy working hard, that’s for sure.
