A few days ago, a customer contacted me about performing some WordPress work in regards to redirecting two additional WordPress websites to their primary website.
To perform the work and lessen the manual labor of redirecting all links by hand, I wrote a few lines of code in a .htaccess file.
I set up a quick test environment to ensure the .htaccess file was executing as it should. And it worked like a charm, redirecting all previous blog posts to their respective new URL.
What should have been a routine change, rather than an addition of code to the .htaccess file, turned out to be a wild goose chase to locate the .htaccess file.
In domaining news, here’s what you’ll want to read and know about:
That’s all for today. Let’s move onto today’s domain auctions.
Below is a hand-picked list of quick pick domains that have no bids. I personally think there are a few sleepers on the list worth NOT BIDDING on, and allowing to enter into buy-it-now closeout status.
Attempting to allow domains with no bids to close in auction can be a bit risky. Once domains enter buy-it-now closeout status is also risky too.
I love getting steals at the final $5 price (really $13 after renewing it for a year), but be wise and don’t lose out on a good domain in an attempt to wait it out.
As always do your homework and research each domain before you commit to bidding and buying.
It’s time to snap to it with today’s randomly selected domain auctions from SnapNames.com.
