NameJet Scores a COOL $3K+ Emoji Domain Auction Close

It’s a been a few weeks since NameJet debuted its Premium .WS Emoji Domain Auction.

In my opinion, the results have been interesting to say the least when compared to emoji domain auctions over at GoDaddy.

GoDaddy has fallen completely off the map for emoji domain auctions in the last week or so, but that’s certainly not the case for NameJet moments ago today.

NameJet’s .WS Emoji Domain Auction hosted 😎.ws (smiling face with sunglasses), and watched it taxi down the runway and soar to a *cool* $3.1K close.

As you can see above, 14 different bidders participated in the auction, having casted 18 bids. Most of the bidders were simply along for the ride seeing most bids never made it beyond $69.

Only 3 of the 14 bidders were active bidders, having casted high bids of $600, $600, and $3100 in the last few days.

Although funds haven’t been collected/confirmed nor has 😎.ws been transferred to new owner, today’s $3.1K moves the bar higher for emoji domain auctions and valuations.

There remains quite a few emoji domain auctions pending for NameJet, and quite a few GoDaddy expiring emoji domain auctions coming in the next week or so.

So, where do emoji domain auctions go from here? Are emoji domains, especially singles, gaining in value and popularity?

What do you think?
