Domain Auctions Ending 1/9/2016

It’s early, and it’s Saturday.  Why are we up?  Because the early bird gets the worm, or in this case, the expired domain.

I’ve had a great week although it’s been a tough one in the auctions.  Specifically, there was a clawback or a domain renewal reverse with a domain I won:  It went something like this…

I won the domain via proxy auction at $150.  I made the auction payment, and was waiting for the domain to transfer to my account yesterday, per the comments/notes section in the auction. I woke up yesterday to an email in my inbox entitled “Your Auction Has Ended”.  Not a thought ever passed through my mind that the domain referenced in the email would be, and that it would be renewed by it’s previous owner.  It was… and stunned I was.

Wondering how this could have happened, I executed a Whois lookup to verify the owner.  Lo and behold, who’s contact info did I find?  No other than Page Howe.  If you don’t know who Page Howe is, then I suggest you visit Joe Domains or

Although I’m a bit heartbroken because I had a company in mind to brand the domain, there’s not a person that I would rather lose the domain to than Page.  I don’t know Page and he doesn’t know me personally, but I’ve learned quite a bit from Page over the years following his thoughts, businesses and various strategies.

So, back to auction I go in hopes of winning domains similar to the value, if not more, of  Onto today’s domain auctions.

As usual, click the domains to view their respective auction details.
