It’s a lovely Friday morning here in Austin, and it’s feeling more and more like summer as the days pass.

The rain has subsided for now, leaving our area lakes brimming. The image below is out the office window overlooking Lake Travis.

Although I’m glad to see our lakes full again, there’s also the other side of too much water and flooding downstream.

I’m hoping there are not too many more storms ahead of us for the sake of those that are losing loved ones and belongings by such a force of nature.
