.NET Domain Prices Increase on February 1st

🔥Hot off the press and into my inbox about 30 minutes ago, I received an email from GoDaddy entitled: .Net Price Increase.

Although I tend to own mostly .com domains, I do own and operate a few .net addresses. Most tend to be used as redirects or for development websites.

Nevertheless, GoDaddy’s email (excerpt shown below) below encourages .net domain owners to take advantage of existing pricing, both first-time and renewal purchasing, BEFORE February 1st price increase of an additional $1.00 USD.

Note that retroactive pricing for any .net domains is prohibited. Purchase or renew now, or simply be subjected to the additional $1.00 USD price hike for all new registrations, renewals, and transfers.
