Top Verisign’s Trending Keywords Report for May

Yup, it’s the second week of the month and you know what time it is, right?  That’s right!  It’s time for Verisign’s Top Trending Keywords Report.

Moments ago, Verisign published to its blog May’s trending keywords registered for .com and .net domains.

This month’s list of keywords is interesting, to say the least.  This month’s keywords — coupons, coupon, abuse, and apple — do not have a thing in common at first glance.

I’m not certain why any of the keywords are trending, but they are.  Mushroom and shroom keywords appear to be a hot and trending item rolling out of 2018 into 2019.

As for the remaining keywords — only and over — all are a bit of an enigma as to why they’re trending keywords during the month of May, as is each previous month.
