NamesCon Interview: .BIBLE Expands Beyond Churches
Fresh off the heels of NamesCon, I’m sharing and giving you a peek inside one of the largest conferences for the domain industry.
If you missed NamesCon this year, then I encourage you to buy your tickets, and SOON! Don’t wait until the last minute.
Moving along, today I’m sharing with you an interview and conversation I managed to capture while attending NamesCon with .BIBLE Registry.
Many of you know that I operate a second blog, DNAdverts.com, dedicated towards helping and educating the general public about the good, bad, ugly and everything in between when it comes to using domain names representing a digital presence.
The reason I mention DNAdverts.com is because not long ago I covered the topic of whether or not churches should consider using new domain extensions, such as .CHURCH, .BIBLE, .ONLINE and a few others.
This article was sparked and piqued my interest because it was written by DJ Chuang, Technical Manager for the .BIBLE Registry. DJ made 3 excellent arguments churches should consider when updating or choosing a new domain name for their digital presence.
Little did I realize when writing the article that I would encounter DJ at NamesCon, sitting next to one another on opening day. I’m glad I edited (j/k) said all good things about him. 😀
Nevertheless, DJ and I chatted briefly after NamesCon’s Welcome session concluded. It was in this conversation that I discovered attributes of the .BIBLE Registry that I hadn’t considered or known about previously.
So much so, DJ granted Kickstart Commerce an interview to share how .BIBLE is expanding beyond churches to assist their customer’s with achieving biblical context.
Enjoy, and feel free to visit Get.Bible with questions/comments, or feel free to drop me a note below the video.
