TWO DAYS into the New Year, and time is quickly running out if you planning on saving 50% and attending NamesCon 2018, the Domain Name Industry’s conference of all conferences to attend.
If you didn’t get to make it to NamesCon 2017, Local Domain Name Meetups, MERGE! 2017, or any other Domain Conference, then I encourage you to take advantage of NamesCon 2018 special ticket pricing.
What a fast-pace number of days it’s been attending the Inaugural MERGE! Conference in Orlando, Florida.
If you’re not familiar with MERGE!, it’s a conference that “merged” The Domain Conference and CMS Summit to bring a number of businesses and professionals together to interact, engage, and share a number of topics and thoughts.
DNSeattle was everything it was billed to be and more.
The weather was perfect. The location and venue were great. There was a good selection of music, food, and beverage on hand.
And of course, there was not a shortage of domain hobbyists, investors, and professionals in attendance at Amazon’s campus (Terry Avenue) in downtown Seattle.
Yesterday was a long day for my wife, our youngest child, and I as we started our day early in Austin and arrived in Seattle mid afternoon PST to attend DNSeattle Meetup (later today).
It was great taking a short trip in from the airport and experiencing Seattle’s downtown skyline.
This time last week I was in route to League City, Texas with much anticipation for a bit of shop talk, and engaging new relationships at the DNHouston Meetup.
And what a time we had aboard a HoustonPartyBoats.com barge sharing with one another as well as hearing some insight thoughts about search marketing and domain industries.
It’s 6 hours of road time (round trip) for me today as I leave Austin and head to attend DNHouston from 7pm -10pm.
It’ll be my first time attending DNHouston, which is hosted by Angela St. Julien and sponsored by Public Interest Registry.
All event proceeds being donated to the Heidi Powell defense fund. Owning my own domain name for quite some time, I too know how important protecting one’s brand is, especially when it involves domain names.
Nevertheless, a collective group will board a Houston Party Boat with a what looks to be a very informative night of sharing and networking accompanied with good food.
Angela has booked a solid group of speakers – Andee Hill, Victor Pitts, Kevin Kopas, and Bill Hartzer. I’m personally looking forward to meeting Bill Harzter. I frequently follow his site, blog and social media interactions, and I’m looking forward to hearing him speak as well as others.
It’ll be a grand ole’ time to meet and network with other industry professionals face to face. I’ll be sure to take plenty of pictures to share, and maybe even some video.
If you’re attending, then I’ll see you there…
